U.S. Central is regulated by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) and insured by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF), and deposits, except for Membership Capital Shares (MCS), are insured up to $250,000 per depositor. NCUA regulations state that MCS are subordinated capital and, hence, are exempt from NCUSIF coverage.
